Local Schools Kindly Help Kids

Thank you to the staff and students at 78 Spokane County schools who opened their hearts to our families and children when we visited for presentations. Our families did an incredible job of sharing their stories and students asked smart, insightful and caring questions. This generous group of schoolchildren and adults raised more than $48,000 for this year's Kids for Kids Penny Drive! The funds raised by our wonderful educational community will help the Guilds' School provide life-changing services to children in need. Thank you so much to all of the schools that participated!

Does your school want to help?

Despite a demanding curriculum, every year about 75 schools make time in their busy schedules for a presentation that highlights a child with a developmental disability or delay and helps to reduce stereotypes and build compassion. During the past 20 years, schoolchildren and school staff have generously contributed $590,000 worth of pennies, dimes, quarters and dollars through the schools awareness program. Entire families participate. We are grateful and honored by this support!

We would love to have your school on board for the 2016-2017 Kids for Kids Penny Drive. If you would like to schedule a presentation or learn more, please call Melodie Little, community relations manager, at (509) 326-1651 or email melodiel@guildschool.org to learn more.
